It's been years since I bought a PDA. I am now ready to step up and get one that will be more then just a calander, but I am confused about what I should get. There's one that run linux, pal, and PocketPC from what I can find. My main issue is I want one that I can use to connect remotely to a *nix server via ssh and do some server administration work if a server needs it in an emergency.

Of course with that kind of connectivity I will also be using it for email, web browsing, and the usual calander things.

Any recomendations for my needs?

With 3rd party aps you can do that with any PPC. I really like the Dell axim.

thats good to know.

I looked at that Dell, but I really been a decent mini keyboard with all the typing via ssh and websites. I really can't stand the stylus.

What about the Sony Clie PEG-UX50. That looks pretty cool. It is a little pricy.
