I'm looking to buy a small/light laptop that I can take with me on the rare moments I leave the house. I don't need ultra-powerful, just something that will allow me to check my stats, admin my message board and allow me to search the web. So far, I'm looking at this, the Sharp Actius that's 3lbs. and the Dell Latitude X200.

So, any advice?

I had a little Psion with Opera onboard, with the addition of a cell phone with infa-red modem it could all of that [including https]. Almost fitted in a shirt pocket.

I had a little Psion...

Wow, just when I think my research is done. :) Okay, I'm off to the Psion website. I'd be thrilled with something that small that could accomplish my few tasks.

Small/light laptop:

I've received yesterday a Sharp Zaurus C700 I've ordered from dynamism.com.
It's simply amazing.
[But I'll go quickly install the debian distro in a 512MB SD card.. I want a true *x micro laptop.. ;-)]

Just picked up an SPV smart phone, blown away by the thing to be honest. I would have a look, it really does fit in a shirt pocket.
