I am new to PDA's and was looking at a Best Buy yesterday and was told by a clerk that the batteries will last about 2 years then you must get a new PDA since the batteries are not replaceable.....any truth to this. I am a pharmacist and would like to use a pda for looking up answers on drug topics. Any suggestions on other brands?

Greetings Michael_F,

Welcome to Webmaster World. :)

A quick phone call to my local Staple's store and the clerks told me that non-rechargable PDA's can be sent back to the manufacturer for battery replacement.

As for how long a battery should last, that is entirely dependant upon individual usage.

Pendanticist.
