Copyright problem with Ebay sellers How to enforce? nefitco msg:928578 6:09 pm on Apr 22, 2006 (gmt 0) How do you enforce your copyrighted graphics and or product descriptions from theft by Ebay sellers in particular. Is Ebay responsive to a complaint?
What's the best course of action?

Ive never found them to be overly responsive with anything else, namely description fabrications.
Although I guess errors in description are hard to tell unless you know what your looking at, whereas with Copyright should be relativly easy to prove either way.

For one, don't bother warning the Ebay member, just send in a report to Ebay, send a separate complaint for each offense using the form Ebay provides for this and fax it in. I say don't bother warning from experience. Most are ridiculously unaware of copyright laws and it's a waste of your time to try to explain to the offending Ebay member. lcampers msg:928581 3:01 am on Apr 25, 2006 (gmt 0)
Yes they were responsive to two incidents that I am aware of.
In both cases the offending auctions were taken down and a warning letter was emailed to the copyright infringer.
