I write because: 1. I like it and it allows me to expore different areas of life.
2. Copywriting is easy for me and I make a great deal of money doing it.
3. I love Journalism. I don't write warm and fuzzy fiction or poety. ;)

Cool post, I write to help people accomplish worthy ends. I write because it is currently one of the most powerful methods at my disposal of helping my fellow man, and by extension helping myself. I write because it brings me closer to my immediate goals. I write because it makes me feel good.

I don't claim to be a writer, but I write to my community forum to entice folks with my background to record for prosperity what has gone before - nostalgia is such a magnet. So I write to extract anecdotes that would be otherwise lost.
