Possible to hide URL's in a PDF document? Bman99 msg:916452 6:30 pm on Feb 16, 2006 (gmt 0) Hello all..
Was wondering if there's a way to conceal hyperlink URL's in a PDF doc (so when someone hovers over the link nothing is displayed). I was hoping there might be a standalone utility that could do this but I haven't found one yet. FYI I'm using OpenOffice as I can't afford anything else. Thanks...

Not sure why you would even want to do that. All they have to do is type it in anyway. Bman99 msg:916454 12:30 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
From an affiliate marketers standpoint, it just looks better when your link is displayed as www.website.com instead of www.website.com/product3654/affiliateID=32585
This is easy to do with HTML, but I can't figure out if it's possible to do this to a PDF document.

Then what you are talking about is not really the link, but the added tracking info.
Don't think there is anyway to do that.
