Hi

I run a website currently in english. We would like to translate it into many other languages. However, based on our research, there are only 2 alternatives

a) Automated translation : Low in quality
b) Sites offering manual translation : High in price

Is There a middle way , where we can get reasonable quality at resonable prices

Pls. help

There is not much middle ground but...

Depending on how many pages you have, it can be cost effective to use translation software and then pay someone simply proofread it.

It should be noted though that if the text you are translating is complicated that this approach isn't the best option because translation software is actually be pretty useless to translate anything complicated.

You could try some of the freelancing sites (elance, getafreelancer, guru etc.). They often have people willing to do translation work at reasonable prices.
