I know of her through Jill Whalen (who does SEO.) They have a business relationship and work together a lot.
I met Jill at Danny Sullivan's search engines strategy conference a couple of years ago. She is a very honest person and was always very fair with me in our dealings. I know Jill highly recommends that book so it is probably pretty good.
On the other hand it is a pretty expensive book. You can get a ton of great copywriting info at the library. (Read some of Dan Kennedy's books or his website.) And of course WebmasterWorld is always cool.
Mmmm, I was about to comment that it's expensive too - but that would be coming from someone who just paid to get into the Yahoo directory - and has real reservations whether that was a waste of money........ So I think it's not unreasonable (for me) to justify them on the basis that if they result in just one sale of my product then they've paid for themself.
