Uploading in ASCII mode
how to do this?

OK, I'm not a unix person, and I'm looking at some documentation and it says to "upload in ASCII mode"

What does that mean?

I use WS_FTPLE to FTP stuff... I usually set it at Automatic Detect. If I change the host type to

UNIX (standard)

will that give a an ASCII mode FTP?

How do most people do that?

You should see Ascii, Binary and Auto as three radio buttons options. Select Ascii.

Using Auto can cause some scripts not to run.
