Using a linux box I clicked on a link to get a download of a perl script and I got this message [cgi-fun.hypermart.net]. So I change the UA on the browser to look like Netscape for M$ and it worked fine. What a foolish company. What do you think the odds are that a person wanting to use a perl script would be using a linux box?

Yes. The nasty type that sticks even after you remove the software.

I don't know, but they are in to download management for other sites. The script I was trying to get had nothing to do with their app, but they threw me there anyway.

ARGghgh, I hate "download" sites, it takes 4 pages to even download it and then half the time it doesnt work.

I remember wanting to download a 20k file, the link took me to a download site where the fancy ASP page had more than 50k of graphics and crud to download, doesnt make any sense :(
