|Problem with Red Hat Fedora|
| 2:07 pm on Jan 23, 2005 (gmt 0)|
After installing the software and restarting the computer, I receive the following error:
GRUB Loadin gStage2Read Error
Does anyone know what this means and how I can correct it so I can load Red Hat on my system?

In your BIOS IDE setting, enable "DMA Transfer Access". I've read about this a few times and that was the solution. Hope it works for you.

I checked in the bios, and it wasn't there. I use an Asus P4 motherboard. Could it be a jumper issue?

I've never used FC, but is there an option on the installation disk like "repair install" or something like that?
If so, see if it will let you reinstall grub.
