Jake has been a huge supporter of the community since he first hit here a couple years ago. Not just in the tech forums, but in just about every category.

Thanks for stepping up Jake.

Jake knows his stuff...didn't even realize he knew all about *nix. How did you find time to learn all this AND sing karaoke and have fun?

Going to have to save this as a snippet somewhere, been typing it a lot of late.

Congratulations, well deserved and much appreciated.

Jake-

I've had your advise on more than one occasion, and most recently to iron out a headache on my PDA's clock. I think you will serve as a valuable addition to the moderation team at WW.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations Jake and above all, thank you - some of your posts have been eyeopeners, others have been a degree-level education, and yet more have talked about the really important things in life like chicken and waffles. They are always informative, accurate and sometimes witty with it! The breadth of your knowledge not only about Unix, but also about Windows, server management and security are a huge asset to this forum and to hopeless Linux newbies like myself.

WebmasterWorld is just getting better and better!

Missed this - sorry! Congratulations (better late than never!) bakedjake.

I am hoping to re-embark on the freebsd adventure soon. Since I get to re-retire the end of August, I will have TIME TO HAVE FUN AGAIN! So YOU (and the others in this great forum where I normally simply lurk) will get to help me out of various tight corners....

(Um. I am NOT a complete dummy - or at least not under normal circs....)
