Better lisings in All the Web?

 6:08 pm on Jan 26, 2004 (gmt 0)

Can anyone give me any suggestions or tips on optimizing for all the web and lycos?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

does anyone still use Lycos? I've had top listens with them for months and I don't think I've ever seen the old dog

agree with that - as far as I can tell (from polling just about everyone I have ever met!) Lycos is a dead duck - users find the sms good and tripod and that's where 95% of all their traffic figures come from.

I have had traffic - of 900,000 impressions 16 were from Lycos :) on the logstats!

Thanks for your reply. I just got hit really hard by the recent update on Google and Yahoo (where 85% of my traffic came from) and was just interested in learning more about ATW and Lycos. I have only had my website for around a year and unfortunately relied mostly on the traffic coming from Y and G. I had excellent first page rankings on Y and G for mostly all my keywords and then just disappeared for 95% of them after Sunday. Needless to say, its been a rough week!

Rough week! Understatement of the year.

Like you Im switching to ATW, yes my site vanished after Sunday as well.

Opt for ATW like Googlke and see what happens.

So far the SEO results have been good.,
