I work for Overture Services (the owner of AllTheWeb) and I am making comments here for the benefit of the forum and not representing Overture Services. I work in the front-end software engineering team.

As many of you have noticed there are some changes happening right now on the AllTheWeb.com site. We have just changed the front-end software that serves AllTheWeb. There were some temporary glitches but things should be working now. We tried to support all of the features as before but a few minor things did change. If you see problems or have feature requests use the online form to send us email. We do get the messages and will fix bugs as soon as we can and features will be evaluated for future releases. Here is a link to the page:

Hey, thanks for stopping by, great to have you.

You know, you guys can't do much without us noticing... ;)

Any comments on why the change?

Is it just me, or when you did a whole domain search, the result page would list:

Find all (some number) external web pages that link to "www.widgets.com"
Find all (some number) external web pages that contain the term "www.widgets.com"
Find all (some number) web pages indexed under "www.widgets.com"

The (some number) part has been removed - I miss it and hate extra clicks.

Howdy gshute,

Glad to have you here.

Anyone - Pardon my ignorance, but "front-end" software?
What would that include? Just user interface?

No it is not just you, I noticed it also (and like you I prefer the numbers in that overview) and so did 'Skier' as can be seen in the thread Slight Change - missing the numbers on urlinfo page. [webmasterworld.com]
