oLeon, any sources for that? Not that I doubt the general direction of the statement, it has been rumoured for a while, but I have not yet heard any official statements.

No official statement - but we are Trusted Feed Partners of both, and I told to my contact person about this issue yesterday, I have no problems to believe what he said :-)

Just ran several searches that normally return a few hundred thousand results. A few times it can back with no results returned and prompted me to try my searh at AV.

Interesting...interesting indeed. You see, I'm listed in the AV SERP's, but not indexed at all by alltheweb. Who will prevail? Will my listings "disappear", or stick around...will be interesting to see. Dave.

Way I heard it was AV for the algo, ATW for the tech. Be interesting to see which way it goes.

That's a tough one, glad i saw it... i've had a few issues lately with ATW searches not behaving as i thought they would and backlinks also seem to be way off (as another thread also points out). ATW was just getting very good (*) i hope it's not getting worse now due to this. (*) By "very good" i mean "search quality" when i search for other people's stuff, not the ranking of my own pages. Imho, it was just as good as Google and even better for some types of searches (again, i'm not talking about my own ranking, it was/is as it should be)
