Now that is pretty interesting...it takes the whole 'footer links to other engines' idea a step further & could also give Lycos an idea of which queries people don't like ;) If they click the other engines results, etc. Interesting concept, but I have to wonder if it'll help to breathe any life in what seems to be a dying engine...

SearchDay has a feature [searchenginewatch.com] on it. >help to breathe any life in what seems to be a dying engine Jeremy, it's not all dead yet. There's still a nice chuck of traffic coming from European Lycos sites - especially Germany can be well worth the effort.
