Did alltheweb.com always have banners at the top of the serps page.. or is this new? maybe it's just the particularly colourful graphic caught my eye today, but I don't remember them being there before.

The agreement under which Terra/Lyocs monetizes ATW has been in place for even longer than the post by Markus indicates (which I obviously missed, sorry). It was under that agreement that ATW displayed OV listings for US users.
