What Can I do?

Hello,

I have a rather new site (hit Google index in October). In October, FAST spidered much but not nearly all of my site (about 500 of 1500 pages). After this spidering, FAST now only comes back, grabs the first page, and then leaves. In early November, I was showing around 480 pages in All the Web - now I'm down to around 86 and seemingly dropping weekly.

Anything I can do? I've read in these forums that you can contact FAST to get them to do a full crawl if the spider is ignoring your site. Would this be an option at this point? And if so, where do I contact them about this? The FAST homepage didn't have any contact info. for something like this.

Thanks.

Jim

Hi Jim
I'm afraid Fast does not provide an address here at WebmasterWorld to contact them for such matters.
What we had here on the board was a member of the Fast team who offered to contact him in case someone had problems with their PFI pages.
There is however a contact form at ATW specifically for people having problems or encountering bugs:

Thanks Heini

I guess I'll give it a couple of more weeks to see if my site disappears entirely from FAST before doing anything. I've never had any traffic from FAST yet so I'm not really losing anything. But its always nice to have more than one SE source and FAST seems like a good search engine.

Jim
