My site is in FAST database, but I can't find it in ATW nor Lycos

Hello!

I have included a URL into FAST via Position Technologies, but while it is included in FAST I can't find it myself in ATW, nor Lycos.

I have asked both ATW and Position Technologies support teams to find it for me and they actually did using the url.all:http://www.example.com/index.htm, but when I performed the search myself--no page has been found!

Following is what the ATW support team has sent me:

BTW, the domain has 2 subdomains (italiano.example.com and czech.example.com) which are language mutations of the main web site. I wonder, if this is the reason why I can't find my site

PLEASE, CAN ANYBODY HELP FIND MY SITE IN AlltheWeb OR Lycos?

Also we don't handle specific url's, due to TOS

I couldn't find your site either when i did a search, sometimes it pops in and out when you don't have a stable position (You are only included because PFI)

They have had some problems with this, how long have you been using PFI, and have you had any downtime?

Hello milean, welcome to the board!

I guess it's exactly what Lazerzubb has said. Fast has reported to have some glitches from time to time where urls pop in and out of the index. This is index wide, for both paid and unpaid pages.
Your case seems to fit this explanation perfectly.
I would try to get back at PT and Fast since the problem is solved. From what I hear both have been very helpful in such situations.

Lazerzubb, thank you for welcoming me aboard! To answer your questions...

I have been using PFI (via PT) for about 1 1/2 year and it worked fine for me. But I have used only the Inktomi submision service. I am using PFI for FAST since Nov. 20, 2002.

My site is 99.8% up, so downtime is not an issue.

Also my site is ranking well in other search engines such as Google, HotBot, AltaVista for my most important keywords.

When I do a linkpopularity check at MarketLeap it shows 2 inbound links for my index.htm page and 515 inbound links for the site main URL.

Any other suggestions how to solve my problem?
