I do like the look and feel of the new serps since they changed them (last month?). However, what's up with the impossible to read urls? The situation seems to have gone from bad to worse.

To me, the url is the most important aspect of the listing. I always look at the url before even reading the description or title. I want to know that I'm going to "super teen soccer stars.com" and not "super teens of erope.com"...I trust you get the difference.

I have no trouble at all reading them Brett. (Maybe you should get yourself a new pair of glasses?) ;)

I searched for webmaster world, and I got:

Displaying results 1-10 of 18,903,191 web pages found

1. WebmasterWorld News and discussion for the independent web professional
SearchEngineWorld.com's discussion forums on search engine and directory promotion, professional issues, and other webmaster topics.
[webmasterworld.com...]

I admit that the URL is displayed in a low grey colour.

I do like the fact that the URL is gray, however, it's too light.

I have no problem with the format either.
Neat & tidy.
The important thing for Joe Public is the Title & Description. URL's are generally for webmasters and techies.

My monitor's been going bad... getting too dark... and the urls are close to OK, perhaps still slightly too light, on my system. I'd hate to think what they'd look like on a Mac.

I did notice for the first time the "more hits from icon," two overlapping rectangles suggesting a pile of pages. Kind of a nice bit of icon design, but not significant in the scheme of things.
