Signed up for Fast paid inclusion at Lycos on 6/13 with one trial page. The calendar has turned 6/17 and my page status is still reported as 'pending' and I see no Lycos traffic yet.

How fast is Fast when it comes to indexing pay-for-inclusion pages?

mayor, I don't remember exactly, but mine was just about a week. Just one paid page, in a bit the index page was in there ranking and now some more. Unpaid, probably no connection at all. I might try one additional page for testing with quick updates; if we do it I'll let you know if that's any faster than the first was.

It should be included within 24 hours, there spider might have a problem fetching your page, and therefore it may not be in the index, Lycos also said that they had a bug in there system for some url's, but FAST said it was fixed, even though some of my paid url's are spidered fine, they don't get updated, unless they update the whole index. Talk to Lycos, and you might get an answer if your url is on that list, and then you can get your money back.

lazerzubb, not that they were included then, but I got an immediate response of how many pages were on the site, just the html, not the dynamic. Now they've got a dynamic, even though there's a robots.txt exclusion on that directory. Interesting.

It was mainly adressed to mayor, but Marcia i do belive they stop somewhere around 602, then they won't go any further, and it's only there own spider (Lycos Mod something) that crawls your pages. That doesn't mean that FAST will index them.
