Hi bateman_ap, I agree in fact there are NO .co.uk sites listed. if you try an advanced search with Domain filters set only co.uk you get zip. can somebody verify if alltheweb take co.uk's DaveN

nic.uk is indexed but it's not an .co.uk adress, i couldn't fin anyone either.

If you think that is bad - have a look at Lycos UK. No .co.uk sites in that either from the FAST DB. Sort of limits the number of sites that come up on a UK search :)

Launched 2 sites Oct. 18.th, .cu.uk never got in, submitted the co.uk in beginning of Dec. still not there, looks like co.uk does not get indexed, pages are spidered though, but not deep crawled.

It certainly looks like FAST have got SERIOUS problems. The SERPS are all over the place and of course all the .co.uk sites have gone. MakeMeTop is right about Lycos.co.uk.... a UK index with almost no UK sites! Let's hope they sort this out quickly... it's the sort of problem I would only wish upon Goverture!

there are hundreds of .co.uk sites listed by fast. try a search for "web design uk" and you'll see plenty.

Ja, co.uk has come back overnight - hopefully more than a few hundred.

Ironically, a largely 'mirror' .co.uk and .com site (with a lot of different content for .co.uk - same server)submitted using the uk domain is figuring well in Fast. What we are seeing must be a temporary problem. Perhaps our past contributor from Fast could comment?

Been speaking to the people a FAST. There was a small glitch during an update which wasn't deteched straight away. It's been or is being sorted now. I think we should lay off for a week and things will be back to normal.
