I'm waiting, contemplating, and have been spending much time on fast looking at all the necessary elements to target #1 positions, though the site has just had a major strutural overhall, i don't want to leave it alone until i know that i have the competitive #1's on fast, i know for the other SE's, i've sorted it and am waiting for the penny to drop. But re-iterating my concerns - i've seen fast crawlers, doing reasonable crawls, but have'nt seen a new index for at least 2 months. Obviously Fast have done some structural overhauling of their systems to incorporate the exciting developments, that could possibly put them in contention with google on the relevancy stakes, but i am at a loss to see why they have'nt crawled in so long. Any comments or knowledge imparted on this matter, would ease the grey matter and would be much appreciated.

two days ago(perhaps 3-4 days) my fast rating whent from #4 to #1 and my new <TITEL> tag was shown

I have a new domain listed. I don't see their spider nearly as much as googlebot, but some. On a small non promoted site he had 255 hits from CRAWLER last 3 months alone. Check everything on your site for something. server config, robots.txt, do you have a shared ip?? must be a reason. I bet you get hit real soon, just one of those lags. (any new links out there)

getting crawled, but no updates netcommr, site is fine, no txt blocks, 20 new targetted relevant reciprocal links, 30 external high points links. I just have not seen the site's pages updated on Fast in 2+ months, and everybody else is saying they have.

I don't know the spidered date off hand, did not have the logs set up yet, but the registration date of the domain is 5 sep. 2001. 9 pages listed

Ove, i see what you mean, the site had a major overhaul, title, desc, page structure, and its all over the place in Fast at the moment. Three different index.htm pages, its like it is trying, at least with my site to index 2-3 crawls at once. Shall await anxiously to see how it all fold out.
