Dmoz entries in alltheweb search results
- how long for migration?

Since December [webmasterworld.com], alltheweb has been using results from the Open Directory. Does anyone have any information as to how quickly results appear in the alltheweb searches after they appear in the Open Directory? I have just had a page listed in dmoz, you see. Will I see the page appear in the next general reindex, or do the dmoz entries update on a different schedule?

A side point - how many months behind is the US Lycos in updating its version of the Open Directory? It seems like at least 3 months.

Lycos is updating my pages every 2 weeks from fast. Regarding DMOZ, nobody in DMOZ submits to Fast, someone has come along and submitted a directory to Fast, and fast has spidered all the sites.

...but alltheweb does acknowledge that it takes pages from DMOZ - see the very last graphic in this search - "includes data from DMOZ" [alltheweb.com]
