Is there any harm to submitting a site to ATW? With google, it's apparently better to have them just find you.

If your site is not in the index, go ahead and submit. Only submit your index/default page.

if I see the atw spider in my logs but no pages indexed, should I still submit the url? Also, does the same apply with alta vista? thanks,
