Hello,
My host provides me with a thorough stats tracking system but I have no idea of how to make any sense of it all! Are there any programs that I can attach to my current tracker to make the stats a bit more user friendly? here are the stats [theflexeffect.com].. any ideas? I would like to get this done as soon as possible, before the stats become overwhelming after we submit to search engines!

Thanks!
Graham Hurlburt

Hey Graham - there are a ton of log programs that will analyze that stuff for you.

Check out:
WebTrends - www.webtrends.com
FastStats - www.mach5.com
LiveStats - www.mediahouse.com

It also looks like your host doesn't have extended logs turned on. This means you won't get any referral information or search engine information. You should ask them about this.

Always like to throw in a word for a free stats package: webalizer. You can find out more about it at: [mrunix.com...]

There's also WebLog...

but with WebLog or Webalizer, you either need the ability to run cron jobs on the server, or have telnet access. They don't operate through a web interface, but they do create html output files.

Thanks, I guess my web stats tracker provided by my host just had some technical diffculties and delayed the launch of the stats by a week or so.. but its up and running now, thanks for your input on the subject anyways :).

Can anyone help me please, what's the easiest way to track visitors clicking on an affiliate banner on your site, the particular banner i'm talking about is a javascript call in an iframe.
