Strange Google Referral from the Plex
Anyone seen this before?

Just wondering if anyone has seen this before or knows what it means? The ip is from google.

Google has been doing this for a while, they're using an onclick javascript redirect to help them track click throughs. Its been reported it does this almost 100% of the time for firefox users.

Thanks Prolific. That must be it. I had read about that but did not make the connection. And yes they were browsing with FireFox. I wonder what they are up to with just tracking FireFox users that way?

Since Firefox users are more sophisticated and intelligent on average, maybe G
wants to track their browsing habits to help fine tune their ranking algorithms.
I'm sure they had Joe-sixpack@AOL.com scoped out early on. -LH
