Can someone tell me if this log snipet looks right?

Is this how a log should look? (btw, I replaced some of the ip address with '*' characters for anonymity reasons

64.***.***.*** - - [31/Aug/2004:18:22:37 -0400] "GET /catalog/?source=Adwords HTTP/1.1" 200 22811

Shouldn't there more then just this? This is how all of my log entries look.

If this is in fact a seemingly 'normal' log entry, then I would like to know, how do you find out the referring url by looking at this?

More often than not you can configure your logs to tell you everything/nothing or somwhere in between.

It would appear that yours are not including the referring URL as standard, which you need to talk to the hosting company to configure for you.

But it seems that AWStats shows the referring addresses...how does it do it?
