WebTrends problem?
having a problem with webtrends v4.52b

 8:10 am on Apr 14, 2004 (gmt 0)

kind of unusual this. i'm trying to get webtrends to analyse apache log files for february. the files all seem ok but when i set up webtrends with the following date info to produce the report...

Start: 00:00:00 01/02/2004
End: 23:59:59 29/02/2004

it produces an empty report.

however if i ask it to do "all of log" on the feb 2004 files (isolated in a directory from any other files) it returns results from 2002....

i've downloaded Funnelweb analyser and it handles the exact same log files flawlessly (ie no results from 2 years ago) so i'm assuming the problem is either:

a) my error setting up webtrends (although i'm at a loss to see what exactly)

b) an issue with this version of webtrends

has anyone got any ideas or run across this before?

thanks in advance :)

(edited for accuracy of problem)

Maybe you need to use US date format (mm/dd/yyyy)?

yeah i thought that when the problem first occured but not the answer I'm afraid! switching the date/month to month/date just popped up an alert telling me 29 wasn't a valid month ;)

thanks for the try though!

Try specifying end date Feb 28 2004 - wouldn't it be interesting if it doesn't recognize leap days?
