I am an affiliate for a widget company. The afilliate link they provide goes via a third party which cookies the user then redirects to widget company homepage. My problem is I want to deep link to pages with widget company website. Example I have a page about blue widgets. I want to be able to link to blue widgets page on their site. Is there a way of acheiving this so the user gets cookied?

Check if the destination URL is included in the affiliate link somehow, eg.: www.thirdparty.com/track.php?affiliateID=you&destination=www.widgetscompany.com.

If yes, you can probably change the destination URL parameter. I would call the third party tracking company anyway, though.

Thank Hannu.

I've already checked. They do not provide this facility.

If there's a way to contact the vendor themselves, that may help you. It could just be that they haven't set up any of those links and functionality on their end yet. Tell them you know you'd have more success if you were able to link deeper, and see if they can set that up for you.
