Review of stats packages
Review stats packages

 10:11 am on Feb 5, 2004 (gmt 0)

I've been analysing the currently available server stats packages (live) and thought I'd give you quick overview of my findings;

LiveStats - good interface, wide stats range however does not report 'unique visitors' which really is a let down - thats the only reason I wouldn't buy it.

Webtrends - Wow! everything you need, covers all aspects of marketing tracking etc and you can measure more or less anything! .. However, way out of many peoples budgets

DeepMetrix - easy to use interface, wide stats range but simply keeps crashing and visitor information is inaccurate.

Urchin - I simply can't get it working but it looks as if this would be the one I would go for if I could...everything you need with a brilliant interface and available at a reasonable price.

So, after hours of research I have failed to find a decent package below my $1000 budget...any ideas?

Many thanks, please advise!
