hello, can anyone let me know if this is possible, we have use special tags on the ends off our URL's for search engine placement , they were dropped , we are currently using Live stats for tracking , they do not offer the feature i need .

What i need to do for example is" when a surfer hits lycos , types in blue widgets , lycos returns the results , the surfer then clicks on my site , hits the mani page then goes to the d/l section where i offer software....."

Is it possible to track all those steps from beginning to end , coming from lycos and eventually showing the download of my software

Any help would be appreciated thanks

WebTrends has a most popular paths (called something like that) table, but I dont' know enough about WT to know if it's possible to just pull out the paths that lead to a purchase.

The product WUM mentioned in this thread [webmasterworld.com] can track user sessions and highlight all those that navigate from one page to another, for example from your home page to your download page.

I am not sure if it can use the referrer as an additional filter.
