strange referring site
Getting referrers from a site that 404s

Seeing a lot of accesses in my stats from a referring site [oh.my.lord...] (Note: Should be OK to run this URL as is, because it 404s.)

What the heck is this?

sounds like log spamming or a dummy referrer to me.

It's not log spamming in the traditional sense. There are a couple scripts out there that use weird referers and this is probably what you are seeing. People doing experiments and such - usually nothing to worry about.

true, you would think if someone was truly log spamming they would use a url that actually resolved, though stranger things have been known to happen. ;)

When you say "a lot of accesses" is it causing a serious problem? If not, I wouldn't worry as Chris_R mentioned.
