WooHOO! :) Of course, we're not quite as popular as Google updates, but they always say slow and steady wins the race right? hehehe
Congratulations mivox and korkus!
nice work :)
Yep, well done guys!
This is a forum I hang my head in shame to admit that I seldom visit. I'm so graphically challenged it's not even vaguely amusing...
Still, perhaps I'd get a bit better if I put this forum on my watch-list?
Nice work guys ;)
Congratulations and nicely done. I still remember the day you set up housekeeping and ran off with a bunch of posts from Browsers.
How long ago was that then Tedster?
Excellant stuff Chaps, or more to the point Gentleman and Lady.
Feb 3, 2000
It's in the charter ;)
I'll come up with some good graphical type posts ;) Congrats on the 5k posts thus far!
Either my memory is faulty [could that possibly be?] or one of our charters is faulty. The Browsers charter says it was founded June 21, 2000.
Ah well, either way - both mods have built a sizzling forum here that gets better by the day.
I believe mivox started the forum and she wasn't a member until dec 2000.
Hehehe... Probably supposed to say 2001 then, but I didn't write the charter, so it's not my fault. ;) I'm terrible about keeping track of dates anyway.
Just the other day, I said my boyfriend and I had forgotten our fourth anniversary. I figured it to be our fourth, becuase I we'd gotten together when I was 23, and I'm now 27.
Except it was our fifth anniversary, because I'm actually 28.
So, I'm certainly not the one to ask. ;)
<added>Oldest post on the public forums was "Last Message" in March 2001, so I changed the charter date to Feb 2001.</added>
What! We have a graphics forum?
Nice! Congrats to you both. This is kind of the "creative corner" of WebmasterWorld, a nice refreshing touch.
The Graphics forum is a place I really need but never visit. Photoshop and Fireworks intimidate me. Raster, vector, echo foxtrot. All sounds terribly important. Lossy, lossless, pixilated, aliasing, dithering...
I'm graphically challenged unless I have a pencil and paper. Dither [dictionary.reference.com] I can understand but how do I apply that to a graphic? ;)
|how do I apply that to a graphic? |
Apply filter/effect to image.
Toggle filter on and off a few times.
Tweak filter settings.
Toggle filter some more.
Try a slightly different filter.
Go back to filter #1.
Two hours later, decide you really need to start with a new image entirely to really get the effect you're after.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
(And people say using computers is the "lazy" way to create art! HA!)
Congrats to mivox and korkus2000!

mivox, I thought you had a Boy Friend?
