I have been considering doing some 3D animated gif's - you know like spining cubes, or spining pyramids, both solid & wireframe. I'm not really into spending loads of time getting into 3D apps & epxorting as a series of bitmaps - I just want a simple way of creating these little gifs. I'd like to know if there is a plugin for fireworks or some kind of simple app for creating these kind of things. I'm Mac based so Mac apps would be best, but I would be interested to hear about PC apps too. cheers :)

Hi dommmm, Welcome to WmW, you will like it! I tried a freebee a couple of years ago it if called GifBuilder. You can get a lot of those asking your favorite search engine for "Gif Builder" or "Gif Maker". Unfortunately, I dont know much plug-ing for fireworks since I dont use it. If you care for my opinion, ( Don't! :) ) Flash animations are a lot lighter than animated gifs.

Hi, I have used Cool 3D by Ulead for this. Pretty basic program. I know however that it would not plugin to FW. Brian
