I was looking for a tutorial on combining shapes to get these designs that I have in my head onto the screen. I just cannot get past this one hump.

I did find this tutorial: [aestheticweb.com...]

It shows exactly what it is that I am trying to learn how to do. I followed the directions precisely (I use Paint Shop Pro 7) and somehow its not working. Is there a more detailed tutorial got PSP7 b/c I think I am not getting something right here or maybe this tut. assumes you know to do something and I am not doing it.

Help?

bbgirl - Welcome to WMW!

Now, onto the nitty-gritty: at what stage (while you are following the tutorial) are things going down the toilet? What is it doing... or not doing for you, as best as you can explain?

Hi Idiotgirl :)

I just played around with it and somehow figured out my own way to do it w/o the tutorial. I can now do what I was trying to learn from the tut.

Thanks so much for the offered help!

There's always more than one way to skin a cat, particularly when using graphics programs :)
