Sharp, small card logos needed
Are there any out there?

On a newly designed, sharp looking transactional website, we would obviously like to include credit/debit card logos.

However, high quality logos that look sharp at very small sizes (approx 24 by 12 pixels) are extremely hard to come by.

We cannot really spare any more space for the logos, and at the moment they are recognisable, but very fuzzy compared to the other images on the page.

Are there any out there? I've tried the official web sites and google image search, but all the logos available are either large and unsuitable for scaling, or already small but badly drawn. Help!

Try looking for TrueType dingbat fonts... I know I used to have one that had a bunch of common international sign icons and credit card logos, but I can't remember what it was called.

Signs MT is a font with the card images in it. Search for Signs MT at Eyewire or Adobe and you should be able to find it. Since these are font images, they'll be a single color outline but you may be able to type them in the size you want in Photoshop in Black, render them, then color them in.

Also, did you check the web sites for Visa and the rest? I'd think they'd have downloadable GIFs on their site. (If they don't, they should -- all those blurry Visa cards aren't doing their brand image any good.)
