Hi Reno - welcome to the board. Bright, doesn't look like it was widely distributed. I went se dumpster diving [google.com], and I sure can't find it anywhere. I assume they were web based? Not part of the dl? The site is history.

Thanks very much Brett for checking. "Bright" was a surprizingly good freeware graphics program that received some very favorable reviews, so I downloaded it with the intention of eventually playing with the interface, but then failed to do that quickly enough. I like it because it allows for the creation of alpha channels, which most freeware graphics will not do. But without the help files, it is mostly learn by experimentation. Oh well...

>creation of alpha channels Very true. I was just looking for a good gfx editor for alpha channels a couple of weeks ago for this project [searchengineworld.com]. Alpha channel pngs are still pretty rare. Is there a download of Bright available anywhere?

I found a download here [thiagocaselli.na-web.net]. Looks like someone was nice enough to offer a mirror at some point. :)
