A coworker of mine that's into graphic design and computer animation pointed me to this site [theproduct.de]. I guess there was a competition to design as compressed video as possible. This group claims a compression of 30,000 to 1. The quality of the final running is pretty dependent upon your video card, and it requires DirectX.

dependent upon your video card, and it requires DirectX Heh... I'll have to rely on other people's reviews. ;) If nothing else, my home computer is definitely good for keeping me "in touch" with the cross-platform, minimal-system-requirements, slow-internet-connection crowd.
