HERE [mivox.com] is the original image file for the Amazing WebmasterWorld Squash-A-Thon... It's a lovely TIF of a lobster and crab on an intricate, reflective bed of ice (on a black background). If you have trouble downloading the TIFF format file, StickyMail me and we'll figure something out... Official rules:
1. Only one submission per person
2. Final file must be JPEG format, 4in. x 4in., 72 pixels per inch
3. Upload the final image to your webserver, and send me the URL via StickyMail with the following information:

Well, I've gotten reports that some folks have had problems downloading the giganto-tif linked above, so I figured zipping the file might sort things out. HERE [mivox.com] is the .zip file of the contest TIF. Should also speed up download time a wee bit! ;)

So far, I've seen entries from PhotoImpact/SmartSaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, and one freeware compression utility (Pegasus JPG Wizard)... Anyone with PaintShopPro? How 'bout GraphicConverter, Irfanview and other free/shareware programs? C'mon folks, I want to see some tricks I haven't seen before! ;)

ROFL! You should have seen how long it took me to UPLOAD it... My home access is through a 33.6 modem, and the connection speed doesn't even strain at the top end of the modem's ability. More than happy to wait. :)
