Somehow I dont think that these things could EVER be tuned out, even like animated banner ads eventually were. Maybe if you scrolled down and had the sound off, but otherwise - nah.

I turned it off as soon as I figured out what the sound was, and noticed it was getting louder. I hate websites making unexpected noises at me... But the little planes were cute. :) Does anyone want to 'ruin the ending' and tell me what happens after the little planes fly around?

Sabout the lack of warning. I have no speakers on this computer. Yeah I was thinking about it. I said it was awesome, but that is only cause I am a marketing guy and these type of intrusive ads are not all over the place yet. As soon as they are, they will be very annoying. Mivox - they drop guys out of planes, the ad expands, a target moves around, and it ends with the banner returning to regular size. And no, I am not usually "that guy" who spoils movie endings.

they drop guys out of planes... Thanks. I think all Macs come with speakers, so I haven't got much choice unless I turn my system sound level completely off.
