Specialized Web Software
I need some help

 4:52 pm on Feb 21, 2004 (gmt 0)

Hi everyone,
Can someone please tell me how I can go about adding software to my website? I create custom photo calendars that I would like my customers to be able to create online by themselves... I have no idea how to do this... Lots of websites do such things but I don't know how to go about this.
Thank you

Sounds like something that could be done with Flash.

My idea would be to use a <div> with a photo set as a background and put a transparent gif (u can only see the numbers and months) into the div.

Go to one of the sites that use the sort of thing you're interested in, and email the site contact to inquire about where they got the "your calendar!" or whatever, tool/software.

If that doesn't work for whatever reason, go to one of the sites and in View on the menu bar, click Source. Sometimes the sort of script/applet/software you're looking for will be listed with a website and/or contact email right inside the page source.

Another option: check out the script sites on the web - lots of things like this out there....

I usually get work from the Commercial Exchange Forum. I can do this for you if you are willing to negotiate a deal or if you just need general information. Write an email to me with your ideas, objectives, etc. along with the site address so I can take a look at it. Good luck!
