Adobe has finally released a low-end version of Photoshop... (not the 'we-took-a-great-program-and-hamstrung-it' LE version you always see bundled with scanners and such)

I've only given the online info a quick glance, but if anyone's looking for an affordable image editor, PhotoShop Elements [adobe.com] may be worth looking at.

If anyone wants to download the demo version, and report back with a review, I'd love to know whether I should recommend this to my mother or not! ;)

Just a warning, if you currently have LE or the full version of Photoshop, I would not download this.
Could cause some conflicts.

Really? Glad I didn't do it then...

OK... if anyone *without* a current version of PhotoShop would like to do the reviewing honors... I'd hate to crash someone's machine!
