Our site example.com was changed to exampleB.com due to business acquisition. Example.com had very good SERPs. After the transition, exampleB.com got good SERPs as well. Now we changed back to example.com. The problem comes: search: site:example.com, got about 3,000 results; but search: example (domain!), example.com event doesn't show up in the first 5 pages! I can see all the searched sites are introducing example.com. Is my site banned/penalized by Yahoo?
BTW, I was using 301 to redirect example.com to exampleB.com; now using 301 to redirect exampleB.com to example.com
Got an email from Yahoo, I was told our site hadn't been blocked. It's so funny, when I search a term, all links are introducing our site, but our site is not listed. Either Google or MSN doesn't has such an issue for the same term. I am really lost.
