To remove a page from Yahoo!, write to their e-mail support address and request the URL be removed from the directory. url-support@yahoo-inc.com

I didn't realize Tim was with Yahoo until now.

Let me comment on this instead:
Under most circumstances, Yahoo! will not manually remove sites or pages from the index as we do not have the means to verify the validity and authority of each request.

That's silly. You could easily have someone add something to their robot.txt and let them request a re-check (for removal only) or place a text file in the root of the domain like Alexa does for info verification.

Since Yahoo provides a cache of pages, I would think legally you have to provide a reasonably quick way to remove such information (like Google and WayBack does) or risk lawsuits eventually.

We do provide a removal service. Just click no at the bottom of the page linked above and you get a form to fill out with the information. There is actually also a legal page about copyright violations etc in the help section too that has legal contact information via phone, fax and email.
It would be nice to have an automated system as you describe but we do not have one at this time.
