SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) - A month after Yahoo dropped Google as its algorithmic search engine, the online portal is unveiling the first of a number of new search initiatives that will be rolled out over the coming months.

Yahoo (YHOO: news, chart, profile) plans on rolling out Content Acquisition Program, or CAP, which is designed for both non-commercial and commercial sites, on Tuesday.

The "Content Acquisition Program" is just a Newspeak name for Yahoo's recently announced PPI/PPC offering. See other threads on paid inclusion.

No it is really not just paid inclusion there are three parts:
1) Expanded free crawl
2) Acquisition of public domain information (Library of Congress etc.)
3) Commercial Inclusion Program

This new Content Acquisition program is focused on comprehensiveness
