SE Current Market Share Stats
Seen any? Or is Google too embarrassing...

Search engine market share stats used to appear regularly in the tech press. I may have been spending too much time at WW to catch them - or are they not published as often now that the competition is.... limited?

Have moves by Yahoo, MSN or others had any effect this year?

I haven't seen any new stats recently, but heard a comment from a Google engineer last night at Pubcon to the effect that they think they have a smaller share of the market than most webmasters/the general public do.

I think he quoted 55-60% - although my memory might be wrong on this. They definitely see Yahoo as a strong competitor.
