Brett Tabke's "26 steps to 15k a Day" [ searchengineworld.com] states that
keywords in a domain name have never been less to se's
Google: Free Blue Widgets
Result7: freebluewidgets.com Result11: freewidgetsblue.com
This is presumably because other websites link to these with titles such as "Free blue widgets"
Should a website aim for high search engine rankings with a keyword or is branding so much more important?

im not sure i quit understand your example but you shouldn't try to trigger any page for more than 2 keywords/phrases. At least thats what i've read the most of..and from what i've learned it does help to have your keyword/phrase in your domain ulijonroth
Write down "golf turkey" in Google.
The results are as follows...
2- golfturkey.org ... 8- golfturkey.co.uk
Is that enough?
