Can anyone explain the difference between SEO and SEM? Also please explain about the types of optimization.

SEO is search enging optimization. SEM is search engine marketing. I don't know about everyone, but here's my take. SEO is performing on-page and off-page optimization which will help with organic search engine rankings. SEM to me is paid marketing (Pay per click) in order to achieve top search engine rankings.

As far as SEO strategies, read around the forum. You'll find everything you need.
