Great! And we can expect the next 1-2 weeks to be full of bugs and annoying little errors that they didn't QA. I bet they have like 2 QA engineers there that only have a background in network administration.

Word in the street is... they are looking for a third engineer, to help the other two press the delete all programming button. LOL

13/8 impressions on my account, consistent for many months, went up 70,000%. Yes, really. Wiped by $$ balance out, obviously. No similar increase in revenue, sadly. Is this related to the upgrade?

Check your logs as to where the traffic came from. It could be that there was a news report or something in your niche that caused the increase. Also look through this forum for threads where it is discussed how Yahoo sometimes features certain terms on their front page causing huge increases in traffic from casual surfers NOT searchers. If this is the case, and you are only activated for search, then I would complain. This sort of thing is typical of the moral outlook that Yahoo / Over has towards it's customers. I know many WW members do not agree with me however they just seem smarmy.

Thanks Tropical Island, will look into it ;) Account is activated for search & content, and it was content that went balistic. Went from average over months 500 per day to suddenly 350,000. (I know this average is small time to many, but it's just right for me) Stopped it now, of course, but no idea what happened, will have to look closer.

If it was content that caused the spike then it probably wasn't the actual Yahoo site. Maybe you've been put on some on the new Yahoo publishers' sites. I would quickly check your logs to see where it's coming from.

I'm not sure I understand "or anyone does" what exactly they will be changing.. All I know is that the daily cost and impressions of my campaign have doubled since the start of the month.. Unfortunaltly the Conversions have stayed the same... I'm getting tiered of hearing them say, "well we haven't made any changes which should have affected your account" I've been managing this campaign for 7 months.. Why all of a sudden the huge jump in traffic!? Cheers Oren

Sort of new to overture. They have been down for over a day. Is this normal?

They have been doing what I am hesitant to call upgrades since Friday night. They are now back up and running. It remains to be seen what bugs are left over.

jd, I don't think we're allowed to post links to other forums here. But if you look for ["Details On New Yahoo Paid Listings System"] -- you should be able to find a link to some of the details. Does YahooSarah not frequent WebmasterWorld? I'm kinda surprised she's not repeating stuff here.
